laura.... a tree may not grow roots in two places. its roots are what they are, a thing i'm still learning to embrace. but the great thing about trees is that they follow the sunlight, they grow in the direction that seems fitting to their instinct to seek out sustenance, wherever that may come from. maybe you will end up a tree that has roots similar to a lot of our roots, but is okay with following a different path to the sun.
